Pau Cerdá
Pau is a Partner at Cartagena Capital, based in Barcelona, Spain. He has worked in the TMT sector for over 15 years across Europe in entrepreneurial, executive, consultant and investor roles.
Prior to joining Cartagena, Pau has been involved in setting up a venture fund with one of the most active financial players in Spain, managing an existing portfolio of tech companies as well as supporting fund raising and exit processes.
Previously, Pau was Managing Director of Digital Media for GrupoPlaneta where he led the acquisition of several companies within the media and internet sector in Spain (for a total of more than €100m). He was also responsible of managing all the operations and businesses related to the digital assets of the group.
As an entrepreneur and investor, Pau co-founded Valoris Management Consulting (which he successfully sold to French Consulting Group Sopra) and the Internet real state search engine Nestoria. Pau is also an active member of the Spanish tech start-up community and a regular speaker at technology and investment events.
Pau started his career as management consultant at Accenture and Diamond Cluster (now Oliver Wyman).
Pau holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña and an MBA from ESADE Business School, Barcelona/Spain. Pau is fluent in Spanish and English.
