Berk Kirca

Berk is a Munich-based Associate at Cartagena Capital. Prior to joining Cartagena worked at 3i and McKinsey. While at 3i he was mainly assessing late stage venture capital investments in Europe. Berk’s consulting and advisory experience next to working at McKinsey also includes a role at the in-house corporate development and consultancy unit of Koc Holding, the largest industrial conglomerate in Turkey. Berk gained additional experience in R&D roles at a European research institute and a technology startup.

Berk holds a M.Sc. degree in Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Germany and a B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Koc University in Turkey, both degrees awarded with distinction. In the course of his studies, he was awarded scholarship programs by DAAD, TEV and Vehbi Koc Foundation. Berk is an alumni of the German International School Istanbul Lisesi and speaks fluent English, Turkish and German. Berk is studying towards his CFA charter.
