Peter Thickett

Peter is an Executive Advisor at Cartagena Capital. He is a very experienced senior M&A-Banker based in London. He has led or co-led numerous mandates for blue chip and smaller clients across Europe during his roles as Head of European M&A at Barclays Capital, Managing Director European Execution at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Head of M&A Execution Teams at SG Warburg (Frankfurt, London, Tokyo).

During his tenure at these major investment banks, Peter has advised clients in the telecom, retail, financial services and chemicals sectors such as Walmart, Banco Santander, BP, NTL and BHF Bank.

Besides his native English, he speaks fluent French and German with strong skills in both Japanese and Russian. Peter is a graduate from Cambridge University (MA) and from INSEAD (MBA).
