Dhananjay V. Rohini
Dhananjay is a Munich based Analyst with Cartagena Capital with
a strong technological focus. He is responsible for evaluation of cutting-edge
technologies and their market potential.
With an interdisciplinary background
that combines knowledge in corporate finance as well as technology, he is
well-placed to work at the interface of business and technology, typical of
start-ups. He has previously worked for top strategy consulting firms as well
as technology giants in technology and business roles. His projects included implementation
of machine vision algorithms for a Fortune 500 company, supporting the launch
of mobile television in Germany
and investigation of 4G radio access technologies among others. Furthermore, he
has been involved in commercial due-diligences of various TMT leaders in his
consulting role. As a student of the Center for Digital Technology and
Management in Munich,
which promotes entrepreneurial activity as one of its objectives, he gained substantial
experience in working with start-ups and commercialization of leading-edge
technologies.
Dhananjay has a MSc. in
Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an
honours degree in Technology Management from the Center for Digital Technology
and Management, a joint institution of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and
Technical University of Munich. As a part of the program, he also spent a research
semester at the Waseda University in Tokyo.
Prior to that, he completed the Bachelors program in Electronics and
Communications Engineering at the prestigious Delhi College of Engineering in India. Having spent time in India, Germany
and Japan,
he has an international background and is fluent in English, German,
Hindi/Urdu, Tamil and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
