Steve Wallage

Steve is an Executive Advisor at Cartagena Capital and based in London, UK. He has over 15 years' experience in analyzing and forecasting the fixed and mobile telecommunications markets in Europe. Steve is a regular presenter and speaker at telecoms events, and also frequently appears on business TV channels. His experience includes six years as a Principal Analyst at the Gartner Group, European Research Manager for McGraw-Hill, and stints at IDC Australia, IBM and Logica.

Steve's current roles include a range of consulting projects with leading mobile operators around the world. He has recently completed a major study on customer service levels at different operators, and has advised operators on market entry plans and competing against the challenges of MVNOs. Steve also works closely with the financial community, where he advises investment analysts on the key trends and their impact in the fixed and mobile worlds. This particularly takes him regularly to South Africa, the US and across Europe, helping investment bankers develop their models and recommendations.
