Kim Groop
Kim is a Partner at Cartagena, responsible for overlooking the Nordic market. He has experience from international Investment Banking and Venture Capital, having managed early and later stage technology investments in Finland, United Kingdom and the US. Kim has strong entrepreneurial instinct for commercial and ownership issues affecting small and medium sized businesses, having managed successful technology companies on an operational level. He has also been an active board member on a number of technology companies.
Prior to joining Cartagena, Kim was CFO and Director, Business Development at venture-backed Fathammer Ltd, a leading pioneer of advanced 3D mobile gaming technology. Prior to this, he was Investment Executive at 3i in the technology and global communication sector teams. He has also been working in various analyst roles at SFK Finance (sold to 3i), Citigroup and Evli Securities. Kim has received a M.Sc. in Finance from the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki.
