Cartagena Capital is looking for an Associate M&A/Fundraising based in Munich. The role is created for someone who is looking to gain more responsibility and deal exposure working along highly motivated and experienced professionals.

The role is created for someone who is looking to gain more responsibility and deal exposure working along highly motivated and experienced professionals. It provides a clear opportunity to proceed to Vice President and Partner level over time.
Job Description
Project-based assignments for our international clients:
- Execute mergers & acquisitions and fundraising mandates under the guidance of a Partner
- Participate actively in the origination of new mandates
- Manage selected customer relationships
- Conduct/manage industry research and analysis projects
- Provide quantitative analyses including financial forecasting and valuations
- Project management including financial and commercial due diligence
- Prepare marketing materials and information memoranda
Required qualifications
- Minimum of two years work experience in mergers & acquisitions or corporate finance
- Sector knowledge of telecommunications, media and/or technology markets
- Hands-on experience in executing M&A or fundraising transactions
- Entrepreneurial and leadership skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Superior command of English and German and ideally French
- Excellent academic track record; MBA or degree in business administration or economics from a reputable university
